No more Insta
Instagram stresses me the hell out. I feel like I am constantly needing to please an audience rather than just post for my self. This is where a blog like this comes in, something that I control and have a good bit of creative freedom with.
It seems the Insta is a grind, something to game to get a high score of likes and followers. While its fun to play that game and see how far it can go at the end of the day what does 10k, 100k followers get? Brand deals and the expectation to perform? To be locked into a style, look, feel, story, platform seems really… lame…
I would spend 2-3 hours on a single post, stressing over hashtags, locations, likes, post performance over time. And for what?
Marketing. To me, at the end of the day Instagram is a marketing platform for visuals. Promote lifestyles, looks, aesthetics, businesses, brands, bodies, ect…
Anyway…
here is my new instagram feed.
in blog form.
